Master Chocolaterie Mark Tilling
This term Penningtons welcomed the wonderful Mr Mark Tilling back to the school for another exciting workshop. Mark is the 7th Chocolatier in the world and the winner of the 2016 first series of the BBC Crème dela Crème TV programme. This time Mark and the students made a bespoke chocolate egg filled with delicious chocolates ready for Easter. Penningtons are looking forward to other workshops by Mark later in the year, next one in October where he will be running a workshop making chocolate filled marbled and glaced bars of chocolate. In November Mark will be doing a fun workshop for Christmas and again returning for Easter 2019 for more bespoke eggs and chocolate sampling !
New September Classes
Exciting new projects have been added to the website for this Autumn, Royal icing for beginners to an advanced ability, sugar paste and modelling 2 themes to choose from a cute Panda to the classic 'Wind in the Willows', beautiful Autumn wired sugar flowers arranged on an 'on trend ring'.
Stacked Tiered Wedding Course
A new wedding cake design stacked with a stunning Magnolia flower placed as a statement flower on top, on a modern style wedding cake design. The design is a truly modern and elegant cake. The course is scheduled to run on Saturday mornings starting 15th September runs for 5 weeks (please note no class on Saturday 13th October) Refer to tiered wedding cake on the website for more details.
