DESCRIPTION:This is a four week modelling and cake covering course. The cou
 rse includes learning how to cover a cake using the icing\, 'sugar paste' 
 and how to make fun\, character models and create a theme. The project for
  this course is a Easter / Spring theme cake with lots of character models
 . \n\nEach student will be encouraged to express their own creativity in d
 eveloping ideas towards the creation of this cake. Skills covered during t
 his four weeks include: Sugar paste covering\, 3D character modelling\, co
 louring and general decorative techniques. \n\nThe course requires an 8"ro
 und approximately 4" depth fruit cake marzipaned which is required on week
  2 of the course or as an alternative we can provide you with a dummy cake
  if preferred\, dummy cakes will be available to purchase from the school 
 for £7.00 each on week one\, which includes the cake drum and box.\n
