DESCRIPTION:This is a six week modelling and cake covering course. The them
 e for this course is a Christmas theme.\n\nThe cake is a 8" square fruit c
 ake base (student to supply) with a jolly Santa playing a piano and his ha
 ppy elves wrapping pressies and singing along.  The teaching focuses on m
 odelling figures\, with character features\, making the piano out of pasti
 llage\, plus many more decorative techniques in sugar paste to complete th
 is delightful\, festive project.\n\nSkills covered during the six weeks wi
 ll be cake covering using sugar paste\, making and working with pastillage
 \, 3D character modelling and decorative techniques using modelling paste.
 \n\nThe project is on 8" square fruit cake depth 4" approx students own fr
 uit cake (required week 2) or a  dummy cake can be an option if preferred
 \, available from the school.\n\n
