SUMMARY:September Monday Morning 'Bramley Hedge'
DESCRIPTION:This is a six week modelling and cake covering course. The cour
 se includes learning how to cover a cake using the icing\, 'sugar paste' a
 nd how to make fun\, character models and create a theme. The project for 
 this course is our take on the lovely\, autumnal tale of the childrens boo
 ks 'Bramley Hedge'. Each student will be encouraged to express their own 
 creativity in developing ideas towards the creation of this cake. Skills c
 overed during this six weeks include: Sugar paste covering\, 3D character 
 modelling\, colouring and general decorative techniques. Photograph for th
 is project to follow shortly.\n\nThe course requires an 8"round approximat
 ely 4" depth fruit cake  marzipaned which is required on week 2 of the co
 urse or as an alternative we can provide you with a dummy cake if preferre
 d\, dummy cakes will be available to purchase from the school for £7.00 e
 ach on week one\, which includes the cake drum and box.
