DESCRIPTION:This is a six week modelling and cake covering course. The them
 e for this course is a cute toadstool house with a family of mice. The hou
 se will be shaped from cake and rice krispie. The teaching focuses on mode
 lling figures\, with character features plus many more decorative techniqu
 es in sugar paste to complete this project.\n\nSkills covered during the s
 ix weeks will be crumb coating in buttercream\, cake covering using sugar 
 paste\, making a rice krispie modelling mix\, 3D character modelling and d
 ecorative techniques using modelling paste.\n\nThe project is on 6" round 
 sponge cake depth 5" approx or a  students own fruit cake (required week 
 2) or a  dummy cake can be an option if preferred\, available from the sc
 hool.\n\nA 6" round x 5" deep sponge cake will be provided for this course
 .
