DESCRIPTION:This is a six week modelling and cake covering course. The them
 e for this course is a cute toadstool house with a family of mice. The hou
 se will be shaped from cake and rice krispy. The teaching focuses on model
 ling figures\, with character features plus many more decorative technique
 s in sugar paste to complete this project.\n\nSkills covered during the si
 x weeks will be crumb coating in buttercream\, cake covering using sugar p
 aste\, making a rice krispy modelling mix\, 3D character modelling and dec
 orative techniques using modelling paste.\n\nThe project is on 6" round sp
 onge cake depth 5" approx or a students own fruit cake (required week 2) o
 r a  dummy cake can be an option if preferred\, available from the school
 .\n\nA 6" round x 5" deep sponge cake will be provided for this course.
