This is a two week course to learn how to set up and crumb coat a 6″ sponge cake by 4″ deep using buttercream then decorate with piped buttercream to create a weaved buttercream basket filled with spring piped Tulips.
During the 2 classes you will learn how to crumb coat on a provided sponge cake and achieve a smooth flat finish. The cake is decorated using the popular icing buttercream to create weaved basket effect on the side and general boarder piping to neaten. The top filled with buttercream piped Tulips (colour your choice) and leaves to complete the beautiful spring cake.
This is a great course for a beginner to cake decorating or someone wanting to learn how to pipe using buttercream for decoration.
