Terms and Conditions

Booking a course

  1. Full payment for each course is required at the time of booking.
  2. Places are not confirmed until full payment is received.
  3. Courses can be paid for by cheque, cash, bank transfer, and via PayPal.
  4. Booking confirmations are sent via email

Materials and equipment

Penningtons will provide all edible materials for the class, unless otherwise stated.

Most essential equipment is available on loan for the during of each class. Students are requested to ensure all equipment is returned in good condition at the end of the course.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations

Penningtons School of Cake Artistry reserves the right to cancel or change a course. In these circumstances an alternative date may be arranged. Students will be offered a full fee refund or the option to transfer to the next available course.

In the unlikely event that the advertised tutor is unable to teach the class Penningtons reserves the right to substitute the advertised tutor with another appropriate tutor.

Refunds and transfers

Penningtons are unable to offer any refunds should you decide to cancel or are unable to attend your course unless 3 weeks notice is given.

Clothing

Students are advised to wear comfortable, practical clothing and shoes. Aprons are encouraged. Students are asked to wear flat, non-slip shoes. Hair should be tied back where possible.

Health & Safety

Students are required to follow procedures and advice given by Penningtons, to ensure safe use of equipment and facilities.

Photograph Consent

At Penningtons School of Cake Artistry we sometimes take photographs of students to use in promotional materials such as on the school’s website and social media pages. You will be made aware of photographs being taken and if you do not consent to your image being used, please speak to the tutor at that point in time.
