This is a six week flower course, the project for this term is focusing on building beautiful Rose sprays. You’ll learn how to create a variety of rose types – from tight buds and classic blooms to open garden style roses, each formed with refinded techniques that bring realism and character to your work. Alongside the roses, you’ll craft complementary foliage and delicate filler flowers, exploring how shape, scale and colour balance contribute to a harmoious arrangment. By the end, you’ll have the confidence and skill to design your own custom floral compositions that feel natural, expressive, and beautifully detailed.(The actual Pic to follow, the image shown is showing the standard of work)
Students are welcome to do their own individual flower project after discussion with the tutor and of course in the time constraints of the course.
Skills learnt on this course are essential for floral sugar craft, softening edges, use of dusting and blending of colours, wiring, and taping the flowers into a spray.
Additional costs to this course are flower wires, tape and dust colours all available to purchase from the school.
