This is a six week modelling and cake covering course. The theme for this course is a safari theme. Sugar animal models and more will be created from modelling paste to create a celebration cake with a theme.
Skills covered during the six weeks will be flawless cake covering using sugar paste, 2D and 3D modelling and many other decorative techniques using modelling paste.
The project shape and size is 8″ Round by 4″ deep, students can make a fruit cake if desired (required marzipaned for week 2), a sponge cake can be ordered from the school but please email to place your order in advance at dawn@cakeschool.co.uk or a dummy cake can be an option if preferred, available from the school for £8.00.
