This is a six week 3D modelling and sugar paste cake covering course. The theme for this course is the delightful character Pinocchio and his doting father Geppetto. A fun, brightly coloured character cake full of childhood nostalgia.
Skills covered during the six weeks will be flawless cake covering using sugar paste, 2D and 3D character modelling and many other decorative techniques using modelling paste.
The project shape and size for this project is 8″ square by 4″ deep, students can make a fruit cake if desired (required marzipaned for week 2) or a sponge cake can be ordered if requested and Dawn is emailed, alternatively a dummy cake can be an option if preferred, available from the school for £8.00.
