This is a six week modelling and cake covering course. The theme for this course are cute little girls positioned around the cake in a decorative styles using a technique called Bas Relief. This is a 2D style of modelling, which can be used in so many creative ways.
Lots of bright, summer colours with a 3D model as star of the cake on top.
Skills covered during the five weeks will be flawless cake covering using sugar paste, 2D and 3D character modelling and decorative techniques using modelling paste.
The project is on 8″ round fruit cake depth 4″ approx (required marzipaned for week 2), a sponge cake can be ordered from the school but please email to place your order in advance at dawn@cakeschool.co.uk or a dummy cake can be an option if preferred, available from the school for £8.00.
