This is a one day class to learn how to carve sponge cakes and shape into a beautiful ‘Baby shower bag’, perfect to be presented at the party before the new born. This shape could also be adapted into a cosmetic bag, tool bag, etc.

This is a six week mixed ability course with 3 levels of ability and 3 projects suitable for the levels of students ability. All royal Icing classes will be of mixed ability with 3 levels, beginners, improvers and advanced students, You will be set a project to suit your level after discussion with the tutor.
Royal Icing classes are the perfect course to join if you want to learn to pipe, or brush up on your piping techniques. Just some of the skills and techniques covered in these classes are coating in royal icing, pressure piping, drop line and runout work.
The cakes for royal icing classes will always be a fruit cake, a beginner will always start off with a round 8″ fruit cake approximately 3″ depth or if preferred students can use a dummy cake, available from the school to purchase for £7.00 inclusive of board and box.

This is a six week modelling and cake covering course. The theme for this course will be a brightly coloured cake full of cute Dinosaurs. Skills covered during the five weeks will be flawless cake covering using sugar paste, Pastillage icing, 3D character modelling and decorative techniques using modelling paste.
The project is on 8″ round fruit cake by 4″ depth (required week 2) or a dummy cake can be an option if preferred, available from the school for £7.00.
